Auto Bavaria, Lions Club complete beach and reef conservation mission at Redang Island

The Auto Bavaria team and Lions Club members successfully collected 13 bags of trash from the beach at Redang Island, Terengganu.

Auto Bavaria and Lions Club of KL Agape Star’s beach and reef conservation mission in Redang Island, Terengganu was a success as the group collected a total of 13 bags of trash.

In addition, the group also planted three artificial reefs with 48 coral nubbins on each reef at the marine park to protect the beach’s rich biodiversity and help preserve the coral reef ecosystem.

15 Auto Bavaria staff members and 49 Lions Club members took part in this 3-day road trip with the convoy leaving from Sime Darby Motors City in Ara Damansara, Petaing Jaya.

Lions Club members were given the opportunity to experience the BMW 218i Gran Coupé, an ultramodern spacious, for-long-distance luxury car with a 1.5 litre turbocharged three-cylinder engine, over the 900km journey to and from Redang Island.
