“We realised all the hardships faced everyday by the flood victims, and we would like to do our part to help lighten their sufferings,” he said.

All the proceeds will be handed to the Yayasan Sultanah Bahiyah before passing them to the flood victims. Also gracing the charity dinner is local veteran singer, Dato’ Khadijah Ibrahim.

“I don’t mind singing for an hour, as long as people do come forward and help those victims in need by providing us their financial support,” said Khadijah when met later at the press conference.

“But, we’re thankful enough that PICC decided to waive off the rental fees for the charity dinner,” she said.
