The rebate, which would cost the state government RM1.3 million, would be enjoyed by all the 65,000 water consumers, he told reporters last night after a dinner in conjunction with an innovation programme of the Public Works Department.

“Those unaffected by the floods will also benefit from the rebate because they helped the flood evacuees,” he said.
