The new-look Tampin/Pulau Sebang railway station might be completed by 2012, as the station is going through a major upheaval.
The station, which is currently under construction, will serve as a meeting point for railways tracks running from the east and west of the Peninsula.
Construction for the station begun in 2008 when IRCON, and Indian company won the contract to commence construction for the US$1 million project.
It is observed that although the the completion date for the station per se is not mentioned on the construction board, it was stated on the board that the new double track from this station to the Gemas railway station will be complete by 2012.
