Police today called on people who had witnessed a fatal accident involving two cars at the traffic-light junction in Jalan Maarof, Bangsar, last Sunday to come forward to assist in the investigation.
City police traffic chief  ASP Foo Chek Seng said the accident which took place at about 4.45am was between a white Proton Wira and a silver-coloured Mercedez Benz.
“One of the drivers died on the spot,” he said in a statement here today.  He urged members of the public to communicate with the investigating officer Inspector Afifi Zulhasni Mohamad Ali at 03-20719999 if they had information regarding the accident.
