The Sabah state government have initiated a new program known as Syabas under the purview of its youth and sports ministry to spur economic growth and build the capacity of the youths.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor recently launched the Program Skim Jaya Usahawan Belia (Syabas) program at Menara Kinabalu.

This program is an initiative pioneered by Hajiji through the aspirations voiced by the younger generation seeking assistance for the youths of Sabah to develop existing businesses or start new businesses.
