The annual Malaysian Fashion, Modelling and Pageant Awards (MFMPA) 2022 aims to promote the best of what Malaysia has to offer by recognizing significant contributors to fashion, modeling, and pageantry. 60 ambassadors representing the respective industries were called upon to illustrate Malaysia’s diverse cultures, traditions, and talents on a global scale.
Organized by Miss Malaysia Kebaya (MMK), the MFMPA 2022 intends to generate a tremendous demand for Malaysian talents, products, and services across the globe by leveraging the influence of local ambassadors that were recognized at the main event.
“We aim to continue pushing boundaries to promote Malaysia as a venue of tourism with the activities we have all year round. As we collaborate with Vietnam and the Philippines this year, I cannot wait to start working with other neighboring countries in the following year to develop the local fashion industry, and the supporting segments.” Dr. Jason Hee, President and Founder of Malaysian Fashion, Modelling and Pageant Awards (MFMPA) concluded.
Having announced its expansion to the ASEAN region for its next edition, the MFMPA 2022 will serve as a benchmark for MMK to spearhead the industry by popularizing local industry players in the neighboring countries. This ultimately enables other countries to utilize Malaysia’s best offerings, thus, creating more opportunities for local players across numerous fields.
A total of 60 individuals and companies were awarded at MFMPA 2022, among them are DJ Leng Yein, Jang Han-Byul, Wani Kayrie, Adeline Tsen, Asyraf Nasir, Pong Pong, and Kid Inn, who displayed exceptional performances throughout the year. Apart from that, Nicsmann, Dking, MD Pharma, and D’Tandoor were also awarded for their innovative efforts and contributions to the industry.
