Kantar, the world’s leading marketing data and analytics company, announced today two senior appointments in Malaysia and Singapore to strengthen its leadership. Paromeeta (Paro) Mathur Banerjee and Jane Ng have been promoted to General Manager of Kantar’s Insights Divisions in Malaysia and Singapore, respectively.
The new appointments are effective immediately and are part of the company’s strategy to accelerate growth in the region.
Paro Banerjee has over 20 years of experience in the insights industry, with stints in India and Malaysia. She was most recently the Chief Client Officer for Kantar’s Insights division in Malaysia. She is a well-known industry figure who currently serves as President of the Marketing Research Society of Malaysia (MRSM).
“I’m very excited to lead our team in Malaysia to help clients find new opportunities among changing consumer behaviours in the region. Whether it’s through current workflows or mining the wealth of data they already have through a different lens, this is a significant turning point for our region. Jane Ng has 18 years of expertise building brand & communication strategy and strategic business plans for customers like The Coca-Cola Company, as well as working for Kantar in Singapore and the Philippines. She is enthusiastic about intentional brand building and a master at creating iconic local treasures and excellent brands. Jane has a wealth of programme design, analytical, and consulting experience developing brands that are significantly different.
Katie McClintock, Managing Director, Southeast Asia, announced the appointments and expressed her delight at adding two outstanding leaders to the SEA team in a dynamic region with enormous potential. She added that Paro and Jane’s leadership and experience will be critical in achieving Kantar’s ambition for regional growth.
