Non-profit organization, Dignity For Children Foundation (Dignity), is celebrating Hari Raya with specially-curated gift packages that are perfect for sharing with family and friends and, at the same time, uplift to the urban poor.
Whether it is sweet, savoury, traditional or modern, you’ll find a gift set that will suit your personal preference and budget.
Seven gift sets, ranging from RM65 to RM200, are being offered by Dignity. Depending on your choice, contained therein are kurma, teas, a varied offering of cookies, and handmade crafts. The gift sets come neatly packaged in rattan baskets or kraft boxes.
Raya Gift That Gives Back
All proceeds from the sale of the gift sets will go towards supporting Dignity’s education and life skills training programmes for marginalised communities in Sentul, Kuala Lumpur.
“Festive period is often a time to spend with the people whom we love and to be thankful for the blessings that we have. It is particularly meaningful if we can share our blessing or rezeki with others. I hope Malaysians who celebrate Raya will consider doing so with Dignity,” said Natalie Tan, Head of Enterprise
Tan revealed that Dignity also has in place a Gift-A-Meal initiative where donors may donate a meal and basic cooking essentials to a family. It consists of a roast chicken meal for five persons, 2kg cooking oil, 10kg rice and 500g of BOH tea. All these for RM125 per family.
So, if you’re searching for a gift for your loved ones this Hari Raya, consider getting one that gives back.
