AdminCapitaLand, in collaboration with Kelab Meow United, Feline Fanciers’ Association (FFA), and Cat Fanciers’ Association (CFA), is thrilled to present The MEOW Fiesta 2023, a celebration of our feline companions. This event taking place at The Mines, Seri Kembangan, from 29 June to 2 July, and at 3 Damansara, Petaling Jaya, from 7 July to 9 July, promises to be an exiting celebration of all things cats.
A Showcase of Beauty and Talent
The highlight of the MEOW Fiesta is the International Cat Championship, where cat enthusiasts can witness a spectacular showcase of various cat breeds. The Mines will host the FFF MEOWSome International Cat Show on 1 and 2 July 2023, while 3 Damansara will hold the CFA International Cat Show and National MEOW Championship on 8 and 9 July 2023 respectively.
During these competitions, participants’ furry friends will be evaluated by 15 international and three local judges based on their appearance, temperament, and hygiene. Cat owners and spectators will be treated to an awe-inspiring atmosphere with elaborately decorated cat cages and a variety of pet booths surrounding the judging area.
The Mines FFF MEOWSome International Cat Show
The FFF MEOWSome International 6 Rings Show 2023 at The Mines promises a world of feline beauty, grace, and agility. Limited to the participation of 125 cats per day, this ensures the comfort and safety of the beloved feline participants. Renowned judges, including Dr. Gan YH, Eddie Fong, Leo Choi, Azhar Mohamad, Ikhsan Maulana, and Dr. Sara Umar, will oversee the competition.
3 Damansara CFA International Cat Show
On 8 July 2023, 3 Damansara will host the CFA International Cat Show, where cats will showcase their beauty and talent. Six All Breeds Judges, namely Pam DelaBar (Finland), Amanda Cheng (Hong Kong), Russell Webb (US), Allan Raymond (Australia), Mihoko Tsuchiya, and Toshihiko Tsuchiya (Japan), will evaluate the feline competitors. The competition welcomes both local and international participants.
3 Damansara National MEOW Championship
The highly anticipated 3 Damansara National MEOW Championship 2023 (Round 2!) will take place on 9 July 2023. Six international judges, including Tuti Iskandar and Ruly Yuwono (Indonesia), Vorapon Mantham and Saichol Thanomwong (Thailand), Pam Delabar (Finland), and Russell Webb (United States of America), will oversee the event. This championship promises a day of adorable antics and majestic displays.
A Fun Day for the Whole Family
Apart from the cat competitions, The MEOW Fiesta 2023 will feature an array of activities to keep cat enthusiasts and families entertained. With a bustling bazaar, cat adoption opportunities, and delightful family activities, it promises to be an exciting event filled with the beauty, talent, and companionship of our feline friends. MEOW Fiesta Bazaar
The vibrant MEOW Fiesta Bazaar will be a hub for cat lovers, showcasing a curated selection of pet vendors such as maoCATfe, YT Cat Teasers, SK Organic Cat Food, Purrfect Sister Cat, and FGU. Attendees can explore and find the purr-fect cat merchandise to spoil their furry friends.
Cat Adoption Drive
The Mines and 3 Damansara will also host cat adoption booths, encouraging visitors to give a second chance to felines living in shelters. By adopting, participants can play a crucial role in saving these cats’ lives and providing them with a loving home.
The Mines Petting Zoo & Kids Activities
For families attending the MEOW Fiesta, The Mines will offer a delightful petting zoo experience from 29 June to 2 July. Both children and adults can interact with small, adorable animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters. The Mall has also organized various kids’ activities, including face painting, balloon sculpting, and free art and craft workshops to entertain the little ones.
