2023 Terry Fox Run: Uniting against cancer

The much-awaited Terry Fox Run returns to Kuala Lumpur with 3,000 participants expected to join the 3.5km event, supporting cancer research.

The highly anticipated Terry Fox Run is making its grand return to Kuala Lumpur, and this year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever before, with an impressive 3,000 participants expected to register for the 3.5km charity run. Taking place at the picturesque Kepong Metropolitan Park, the run is scheduled for the 9th of September.

The Terry Fox Run is an annual initiative aimed at raising awareness and funds for cancer research, paying tribute to the late Terry Fox, a Canadian athlete who lost his leg to osteogenic sarcoma at the age of 18. In 1980, Terry Fox embarked on his famous “Marathon of Hope,” running across Canada to raise money for cancer research, becoming an inspiration to millions worldwide.
