AdminIn a momentous step towards enhancing the digital learning lifestyle of students, XOX Bhd (XOX) and VMR Three Sdn Bhd (VMR3) have partnered with the Ministry of Higher Education. The collaboration was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the three parties today.
Under this groundbreaking partnership, XOX and VMR3 will be working closely with the Ministry of Higher Education to provide an all-encompassing lifestyle ecosystem for Public Higher Learning Institution (IPTA) students. The primary focus areas of the initiative include providing students with multiple online platforms for tasks, nurturing their entrepreneurial skills, presenting attractive packages, and fostering social responsibility through Yayasan Kebajikan Siswa.
The MoU signing ceremony, a historic event, was attended by esteemed dignitaries, including Prof Dr Azlinda Azman, Director General of Department of Higher Education, Dr Haji Mohd Zahari Bin Ismail, Director General of Department of Polytechnic and Community College, Mr Ng Kok Heng, Group CEO of XOX, and Yang Mulia Hj Raja Fouzeel Akmal Raja Zainal, CEO of VMR3.
The momentous occasion was graced by the presence of YB Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, Minister of Higher Education, and Dato’ Seri Abdul Azim bin Mohd Zabidi, Chairman of XOX Bhd.
MYSISWA platform: A holistic solution for IPTA students
The heart of this initiative lies in the creation of the MYSISWA platform, a one-stop solution tailored to meet the diverse needs of IPTA students. The platform will offer an array of services, including telecommunication packages, e-commerce facilities, smart vending machines, e-wallet functionality, and a loyalty program.
“XOX is truly honoured and excited to be a part of MYSISWA, by offering our telecommunication services and knowledge to enhance the IPTA experience in the digital world,” stated Mr. Ng Kok Heng, Group CEO of XOX.
“Besides the excellent telco services, the students will be able to be a part of the comprehensive e-commerce platform, financial services and also the convenience of getting ready-to-eat food, beverage through the smart vending machines. Above all, the students are going to receive reward points for being a part of the MYSISWA ecosystem, and they can convert these points to redeem vouchers & other rewards,” he added.

The MYSISWA program is set to commence in August, aiming to revolutionize the digital learning landscape for IPTA students. The e-commerce platform offered by MYSISWA will include a wide range of products such as textbooks, learning gadgets and accessories, clothing, and everyday necessities, making it a one-stop-shop for students’ needs.
In addition to this, the Smart Vending Machine initiative will be introduced across IPTA campuses, providing convenient access to “Ready-to-Eat” meals, beverages, and smartphone accessories, catering to the diverse needs of all IPTA students.
The comprehensive MYSISWA platform will also feature an e-wallet function, enabling secure and hassle-free transactions, along with an entrepreneur development program, fostering and nurturing the talents of promising individuals.
