The coffers of the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) have seen the biggest increase among the 12 local authorities in Selangor over the last two years.

The coffers of the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) have seen the biggest increase among the 12 local authorities in Selangor over the last two years.

Selangor local government committee chairman Ronnie Liu said that all 12 local authorities had shown improvements in their financial standing, but the MBPJ’s reserves increased more than twofold with RM191mil currently, compared to RM80mil in 2008.
