Jln Travers/Bangsar junction closed, jams expected

Jalan Travers/Jalan Bangsar junction closed for two months to facilitate construction of tiered interchange.

The Jalan Travers/Jalan Bangsar junction here will be closed from tomorrow (April 15) till June 14 to facilitate construction of a tiered interchange around KL Sentral.

Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), in a statement here today, said vehicles from Brickfields will have to make a U-Turn at the Jalan Bangsar-Jalan Maarof traffic light junction before heading to the city centre.

Vehicles from Jalan Bangsar intending to turn into Brickfields will have to make a U-turn at the KTMB roundabout at the Kuala Lumpur railway station in order to do so.

Vehicles coming from the city centre wanting to turn into Brickfields are not affected by the closure.

Meanwhile, Plus Expressway Berhad (Plus) in a statement said the Nilai lay-by (southbound) at KM286.5 of the North-South Expressway will be closed from tomorrow till the middle of September for upgrading work. – Bernama
