The much-anticipated Kuala Lumpur Art Book Fair (KLABF) is back for its third edition, promising to be bigger and better than ever. The event, set to take place from December 8 to 10, 2023, will transform the Kuala Lumpur & Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall (KLSCAH) into a haven for art enthusiasts, designers, and book lovers, boasting 112 international and local exhibitors from over 13 countries.
Founded in 2021, KLABF is an independent annual event that celebrates contemporary art, design, and printed matters, organized by LIE Design. It stands as the first of its kind in Malaysia, providing a global platform for creative practitioners and the self-publishing community to unite, collaborate, and explore design printworks in the realm of artistic endeavors.
This year’s KLABF 2023 is the largest edition to date, featuring 52 international exhibitors hailing from China, Indonesia, Japan, Philippines, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, The Netherlands, and the USA.
