New smart TV sponsorship for robbed kindergarten

Community resilience shines as Hisense Malaysia replaces stolen smart TV in Felda Lok Heng Timur kindergarten, enhancing learning for kids.

The Tabika Kemas Felda Lok Heng Timur in Kota Tinggi found itself the victim of a Christmas weekend break-in, resulting in the theft of a Hisense 43″ television set worth RM700. The administrator of the kindergarten promptly lodged a police report after discovering the break-in on December 25, where the window panel was forced open, and the television set was missing.

District police chief Superintendent Hussin Zamora confirmed the break-in, indicating that it is believed to have occurred between December 24 and 25. Taking to social media, the administrator shared the unfortunate incident on the Orang-Kota Tinggi Facebook page, appealing to the Felda settlers for assistance. The post included an image of the stolen Hisense television set inside its packaging and highlighted the damages incurred during the break-in.

However, amid this setback, a glimmer of hope emerged as Hisense Malaysia, a renowned electronics brand, stepped forward to support the affected kindergarten. After learning about the incident through news articles, Hisense Malaysia decided to sponsor a brand-new 50” A6100K television to replace the stolen set.
