Sunway’s 42 Iskandar Puteri launches free 26-Day bootcamp

Sunway’s 42 Iskandar Puteri offers a free 26-day bootcamp, gamifying education. Play a fun logic game on their website for a chance to join

Sunway’s 42 Iskandar Puteri (42IP), the latest addition to the 42 Malaysia network, is offering Malaysians an exciting opportunity to learn coding through a free 26-day coding bootcamp. The initiative aims to democratize access to tech education and bridge the digital skills gap in Malaysia.

42IP, situated in Sunway Iskandar Puteri, follows a unique education model with zero fees, teachers, and traditional classrooms. This project-based learning approach is part of the globally renowned 42 network, originating in Paris, France, and expanding to Silicon Valley, USA, with 42KL in Sunway City Kuala Lumpur being the pioneer in Malaysia.

The newly launched 42IP campus invites Malaysians keen on coding to participate in a fun logic game on their website, 42iskandarputeri.edu.my, to secure a spot in the 26-day coding bootcamp, known as the Piscine. The game assesses logical thinking and memory skills, ensuring a diverse range of individuals can enter the program regardless of academic background, gender, or socioeconomic status.

Peer-to-Peer Learning Environment

The 42 programme distinguishes itself with a peer-to-peer learning environment, project-based approach, and gamified curriculum. The admissions process is entirely merit-based, ensuring that passionate and dedicated individuals have equal opportunities to access the free program.

Successful candidates from the logic game assessment will be invited to participate in the 26-day coding bootcamp, the Piscine, which serves as a foundation for the extensive 12 to 18 months Core Programme at 42KL. The Core Programme provides advanced training in coding projects with real-world applications.
