In a bid to promote ethnic harmony and unity, the Ministry of National Unity (KPN) has announced the organization of the Festival Perpaduan Etnik at i-City, set to take place on February 17 and 18, 2024, coinciding with the Chinese New Year festivities. This event aligns with the vision of Malaysia MADANI, emphasizing the importance of fostering a sense of togetherness among the diverse ethnic communities in the country.
The highlight of the festival is set to be a breathtaking fireworks display on February 17 at 8 pm, symbolizing the collective aspirations of Malaysians for a harmonious and united nation. The spectacle is expected to draw crowds from various backgrounds, creating a shared experience that transcends cultural differences.
On February 18, at 7 am, a Unity Walk will take place as another key feature of the festival. This symbolic march aims to bring people together, breaking down barriers and reinforcing the idea that unity is crucial for the progress and prosperity of the nation.
