LEGO launches “Play Unstoppable” campaign to empower girls through creativity

The LEGO Group launches ‘Play Unstoppable’ campaign, inspiring girls to embrace creativity at the first-ever Creativity Camp.

In a bid to foster creativity and empower young girls, The LEGO Group has announced the launch of its inspiring campaign, “Play Unstoppable.” This initiative aims to encourage girls to explore and express their creativity freely, breaking away from the constraints of perfectionism. As part of this groundbreaking campaign, the Group will host its inaugural Creativity Camp at Sunway Velocity Mall on March 3rd and 4th.

The Creativity Camp, designed to unleash the creative confidence of girls aged 6 to 12, will feature engaging LEGO play experiences crafted to inspire experimentation and risk-taking. Led by Jacinth Liew, a renowned parenting coach, the camp will offer a unique curriculum focused on embracing failure as a stepping stone to growth.

Parents attending the camp alongside their daughters will also benefit from tangible tools and tips to further empower their children’s creativity journey. The two-day workshop will delve into the importance of adopting a growth mindset while providing hands-on LEGO building activities aimed at liberating girls from the fear of imperfection.

Furthermore, The LEGO Group aims to broaden its portfolio of LEGO playsets, catering to diverse interests and passions. Themes such as LEGO Friends, Disney Princess™, Creator, Classic, DREAMZzz™, Harry Potter™, Minecraft®, Gabby’s Dollhouse, and the newly introduced Animal Crossing™ theme offer endless possibilities for imaginative play.

For instance, the LEGO Friends theme encourages real-life scenarios such as environmental conservation and community engagement, while LEGO DREAMZzz™ sets spark creativity with fantastical creatures and vehicles. New additions to the LEGO lineup include the LEGO Friends Vintage Fashion Store, Disney Princess™ Market Adventure, Tropical Ukulele from LEGO Creator, and the whimsical Zoey and Zian the Cat-Owl set from LEGO DREAMZzz™.
