GG56 Korea invests US$1 billion in Forest City, Johor Bahru, to build Malaysia’s first K-Culture Town, boosting it as a global Korean cultural hub.

Korean investment firm GG56 Korea Ltd has announced a substantial investment of US$1 billion (RM4.37 billion) to establish Malaysia’s first Korean Culture (K-Culture) Town in Forest City, Johor Bahru. This landmark initiative was unveiled by Country Garden Pacificview Sdn Bhd (CGPV), the master developer of Forest City, following the signing of a memorandum of agreement (MoA) between the two companies.

The K-Culture Town is set to be a multifaceted development that includes K-content production studios, an international cultural district, and a world-class residential area, positioning Forest City as a global hub for Korean culture and innovation.
