2024 Miss Malaysia Tourism Pageant finalists vie for three titles

The anticipation is palpable as Malaysia gears up for the 2024 Miss Malaysia Tourism Pageant National Grand Final, set to be held from August 24 to September 4, 2024. Organized by D’Touch International Sdn Bhd and MyShoppo Sdn Bhd, this year’s pageant promises a spectacular showcase of tourism, culture, and beauty. The prestigious Coronation Night is scheduled for September 4, 2024, at the Grand Ballroom of Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

Under the guidance of Tan Sri Datuk Danny Ooi, a prominent figure in the pageant industry, D’Touch International continues to uphold its reputation for excellence. A night of multiple crowns

The Miss Malaysia Tourism Pageant stands out by crowning three distinguished titles in a single grand finale. This year, contestants will vie for Miss Malaysia Tourism 2024, Miss Malaysia Tourism Queen of the Year 2024 and Miss Malaysia Tourism Metropolitan 2024

Each titleholder will not only earn national acclaim but also represent Malaysia on the international stage. The Miss Malaysia Tourism 2024 winner will go on to compete in the 27th Miss Tourism International World Final, which Malaysia will host in December.

A celebration of Malaysia’s rich heritage

The 12-day event will be a vibrant celebration featuring activities that highlight Malaysia’s rich tourism and cultural heritage. The 16 finalists will engage in various events including tourism showcases, sponsor activities, and charity visits. This year’s pageant is supported by Tourism Malaysia and a range of corporate sponsors, reflecting its deep connection with promoting Malaysian culture and tourism.

In addition to the three main titles, the pageant offers a substantial prize pool exceeding RM300,000. The winners will receive cash prizes, educational scholarships, and luxury items. Notably, Peninsula College is offering sponsorships for diploma and UK degree programs, adding significant value to the winners’ prizes. The finalists also have the chance to win one of eight subsidiary titles, each sponsored by various partners.

Special public interaction event

In an exciting twist, the organizers have introduced a Special Voting Contest for the ‘Malaysia Dreamgirl of the Year 2024,’ running from August 14 to September 3, 2024. The public can vote online at dreamgirl.vote, with the chance to win VIP tickets to Andy Lau’s concert among other prizes. This interactive event aims to engage fans and enhance the excitement surrounding the pageant.

The pageant is supported by an array of sponsors, categorized into Platinum, Gold, and Silver levels. Notable sponsors include Berjaya Times Square Hotel Kuala Lumpur and Peninsula College. Additionally, various subsidiary titles will be awarded, including Miss Gintell Wellness, Miss Tang Men Lifestyle, Miss Mayfair Beauty Wellness, Miss Royal Scent Essence of Beauty, Miss Le Bisou Glamour, Best In Social Media, Best In Talent and Malaysia Dreamgirl of the Year 2024.

These subsidiary titles come with additional cash prizes and sponsored products, adding further excitement to the competition.
