MYDIN launches ‘Shine Bright This Deepavali’ campaign, offering shoppers exciting contests, promotions, and savings

MYDIN has officially kicked off its ‘Shine Bright This Deepavali’ campaign, offering a series of exciting contests, promotions, and savings to shoppers in anticipation of the upcoming Deepavali festival. Reflecting the company’s commitment to its diverse customer base, the campaign is designed to spread the joy of the festival while promoting the spirit of unity and togetherness.

The campaign was launched at MYDIN Subang Jaya, Selangor, with the presence of YB Senator Saraswathy Kandasami, Deputy Minister of National Unity, who officiated the event. MYDIN’s Executive Director, Ahimmat Mydin, emphasized that this initiative is part of the company’s continuous efforts to appreciate and celebrate the diversity of its customers, ensuring the festivities bring joy to all.

‘Cahaya Prihatin’ Initiative

As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts, MYDIN has introduced the ‘Cahaya Prihatin’ initiative under the MYDIN Prihatin program. In collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare and the Ministry of National Unity, MYDIN will be providing aid to 200 underprivileged Indian families in Selangor. The aid includes food baskets and cash vouchers, intended to ease the burden on these families during the festive season.

Every festival here represents harmony and togetherness, and MYDIN’s initiative to celebrate diversity is truly commendable. Special thanks to strategic partners like SMS Deen Jewellers and Bombay Bazaar for their contributions to the success of this campaign.”

During the campaign, MYDIN has partnered with SMS Deen Jewellers to offer lucky shoppers a chance to win gold jewellery worth a total of RM120,000.
