Carlsberg Malaysia is ushering in the Year of the Snake with a stunning range of artist-edition packaging for its Carlsberg Danish Pilsner and Carlsberg Smooth Draught. Themed “Brewing Prosperity Together,” the festive collection highlights Carlsberg’s 178th anniversary and features an intricate design celebrating renewal, joy, and abundance.
The limited-edition artwork, created by the award-winning artist duo YAO from Malaysia and Su Su from China, reimagines Carlsberg’s iconic hop leaf as a snake’s head, entwined with peonies, orchids, and fireworks. This elegant design captures the essence of Chinese New Year traditions while celebrating the vibrancy of modern beer culture.
Carlsberg is amplifying the festive cheer with immersive consumer engagements, including the interactive CarlsBazaar, set to take place at 1 Utama Shopping Centre from January 9–12 and at Gurney Plaza in Penang from January 16–19. Visitors can enjoy vibrant performances, explore exclusive merchandise, and shop for limited-edition Carlsberg x TNTCO Chinese New Year apparel, blending streetwear fashion with festive symbols of prosperity.
Throughout the season, consumers can also participate in unique activities like redeeming rewards, including Lock&Lock Electric Grill Pans, stylish thermal bottles, and exclusive prizes such as 1664 Mahjong sets and mini fridges.
Exciting Promotions Across Malaysia
Carlsberg’s festive promotions span across supermarkets, convenience stores, and even hawker centers. From December 1, 2024, to February 28, 2025, consumers can enjoy deals that include exclusive gifts such as RM5 Touch ‘n Go eWallet credits, iPads, and weekly grand prizes of RM8,888 in Ang Pows.
For food court and hawker center patrons, collecting nine bottle caps can earn a Carlsberg Thermal Bottle, while bar-goers stand a chance to win limited-edition items with every RM118 spent on Carlsberg products. The celebrations extend to more than 80 hotspots nationwide with “CNY Nights” events, offering additional prizes and interactive experiences.
