An intimate Valentine’s Day celebration of timeless love songs

The much-loved Golden Oldies concert series returns to the stage with a fresh, intimate twist in Yesterday Once More: Love Is All You Need, set to light up Pentas 2 at klpac from January 12 to 16, 2025. Following the success of five nearly sold-out productions, this new show promises to offer an unforgettable musical experience that captures the spirit of Valentine’s Day in a relaxed and intimate setting.

Curated by director Ian Chow, the concert brings a delightful selection of timeless hits from the 1940s to the 1960s, featuring songs made famous by legends such as The Beatles, Aretha Franklin, Nat King Cole, Barry Manilow, Elton John, and Ella Fitzgerald. Expect to hear beloved tunes like “Young Hearts Run Free,” “Copacabana,” “Moon River,” “Quando Quando Quando,” and “Stupid Cupid.” These enduring classics, which have touched the hearts of generations, set the stage for an evening that promises to stir nostalgia and joy.

A Stellar Line-Up of Vocalists

The star-studded cast is a highlight of the concert, bringing their distinctive talents to the stage. Featuring Fuad of Kyoto Protocol, Joel Wong, Kirsten Long, Rachel “Ray” Liu, Tjoe, and Alesia Dhana, the performers will lend their voices to some of the most iconic songs ever written. The performers will be accompanied by a four-piece band led by Music Director Jacqueline Teng, who will also be performing on the Kawai Novus NV10S hybrid piano. The musical ensemble, which includes Jeremy James Kong on lead guitar, BalRai on bass, and Chow on percussion, brings a polished yet relaxed vibe to the show.
