Bigo Live celebrates creators at Mid-Year Gala 2025

Bigo Live honoured over 100 Malaysian creators at its Mid-Year Gala 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, celebrating livestreaming talent and community.

Bigo Live honoured more than 100 Malaysian creators at its Mid-Year Gala 2025, held last weekend under the theme “Twilight Splendour: A Night of Honours”. The event paid tribute to everyday Malaysians who have transformed livestreaming into platforms for community, creativity, and income.

Recognising livestreaming journeys

“The Mid-Year Gala is a reflection of how everyday Malaysians use livestreaming to connect, create, and even earn a living. There is a story behind every award, whether it is students growing fanbases or parents supporting their families through streaming,” said a Bigo Live Malaysia spokesperson.

“Livestreaming today is more than entertainment. It’s a way for people to find belonging, build careers, and share what matters to them. This Gala honours the Malaysian creators leading that movement on Bigo Live,” the spokesperson added.

The evening featured live performances by Bigo Live musicians, dancers and artists, showcasing the platform’s diverse talent ecosystem. Top creators, including Cikboss and Mumu1024, added glamour to the event with their “Twilight Splendour” outfits.

Celebrating top creators and agencies

The Gala recognised outstanding creators across categories. In the Top 3 Idols (Malay) list, Cikboss emerged at the top, followed by kayli3daaa_ and Femeyra_. Meanwhile, in the Top 3 Idols (Chinese) category, Mumu1024 secured first place, followed by fishee_119 and bj0517.

  • Top 1 Agency (Chinese): Fun

Expanding Bigo Live’s Malaysian community

The Gala reflects Bigo Live’s commitment to supporting creators in Malaysia through recognition, training and events that foster connection. The platform continues to grow its footprint, offering tools and support to help users build sustainable careers.

Earlier this year, the Bigo Durian Fiesta 2025 brought users together with in-app competitions and an offline Durian Party on 26 July, highlighting the community-driven nature of the platform.
