NUBE Sec-Gen giving his take on current union issues

In a recent interview with J. Solomon, general secretary of  the National Union of Bank Employees (NUBE), shared his views with Malaysiakini Citizen Journalists on the existing laws that govern the trade unions, the labour laws and the industrial relationship between unions, employers and the Human Resource Ministry.

Lately, NUBE has been in the limelight where several rallies were held to express its dissatisfaction over the alleged unlawful sacking of two Maybank employees who are also senior office bearers of the union.

He reiterated his support on the statement made by the Malaysian Trade Union Congress (MTUC)  attributing that the Human Resource Minister is the cause in creating industrial disharmony in the country and called for the minister in charge to resign.
