Upkeep the Chinese arts and culture

The Johor Bahru Hainan Association (Youth Section) organized a calligraphy and children coloring competition at the KSL shopping complex in Johor Bahru.

Mr Teo Ah Khiang, Chairman of Johor Bahru Hainan Association said that it is important that Chinese arts and culture should not be forgotten.  Activities amongst youths involving the Chinese art and culture are encouraged.  He added that it is the responsibility of the various chinese associations to upkeep and preserve the Chinese arts and culture. He expressed his delight when he saw Malay performers in the lion dance recently.
