An angel’s wok: Erina Law cooks for the poor

You don’t have to be a millionaire or a huge organization to start giving to the needy. All you need is a heart of an angel.

Erina Law and husband Lawrence Cheah took the first step of bringing food to hungry children and their families last Saturday morning.

With a budget of RM 200.00, they managed to prepare food for 50 hungry individuals.

They distributed the packed food at The Goddess Of Mercy Temple, in Penang where at least 40 elderly people was waiting for their arrival.

Erina said, “For some people, a meal for four may cost them RM200.00, but then again, when you can feed 50 people with the same amount, it really feels great.”

Lawrence said it was about helping the poor and showing his children the need to be charitable to others.
