More than 300 members of the Malaysian Trade Union Congress (MTUC) gathered peacefully in front of the Parliament House in Kuala Lumpur to protest and reject the proposed amendments to the Employment Act 1955.
MTUC President, Khalid Atan had had earlier in the day met up with the Minister of Human Resources S Subramaniam to convey the decision of the MTUC to reject the amendments..
