Indian students: EDC Achievers

20 Youth from a group called “Education Development Community Achievers” (EDC) took a challenge to motivate and transform 96 Indian youths of SMK Ulu Tiram from a teenage that lacks in motivation and studies to a leader with ambition and confidence to achieve their dream.

According to the S.Senthil Nathan, facilitator, this group started from University Sains Malaysia 18 years ago which actively focused on motivating and helping Indians students to pursue studies in varsities.

While the group made parents and teachers stunned with their success to transform the teenagers within 3 day packed programs, Tebrau MIC chief, M. Soorianarayanan applauded the team for their good job done and pledged to contribute RM5000 every year for the school to conduct similar proggramme for Indian students.
