Two subsidiaries of Bank Negara held ongoing roadshows and seminars in the major cities of the nation.  

The two subsidiaries are Credit Counseling And Debt Management Agency (AKPK) and Perbadanan Insurans Deposit Malaysia (PIDM).  

The objective of the roadshows and seminars is to educate the public on financial planning.

Desmond Chong, Financial Education Trainer of AKPK, spoke on ‘Debt Management – Introduction & Personal Financial Module’.   He encouraged participants or friends of the participants to approach AKPK if they have problems with financial institutions.

A Question and Answer session was held at the end of the seminar.
