Vijay KumarFilial Piety Is The Greatest Merit was a theme for this year Wesak day celebration for Buddhist from Pertubuhan Penganut Agama Buddha Manjusri Taman Daya, JB . A crowd of 300 Buddhists and Sathya Sai Baba volunteers of Taman Daya, JB celebrated the event with full of devotion and joy.
Celebration started with an opening speech by Rev.Ven,Zhen Ding, a speech by Dato Teng Boon Soon and followed by prayers, lighting of candle, bathing a little Buddha and devotional singing by Sathya Sai Baba volunteers. Also never missed are the lions which later paid a respect to the Lord Buddha.
After meeting with a press members, Rev.Ven,Zhen Ding a former Foon Yew high school teacher briefly explained to a group of Sathya Sai Baba volunteers on why he chooses to become a monk. According to him, he is inspired by Sathya Sai Human values education programs and activities in his centre is mainly focused on Human Values.
