Youngsters cheer up the elderly

The 13th Lunar New Year Senior Citizen Luncheon was organized by Kiwanis Club of Johor Bahru, a charity organization, and saw encouraging involvement by youngsters around here.

Most of them were school and college students who volunteered to cheer up around 140 senior citizens from 38 welfare homes took part in the function.

Malaysiakini’s CJ was fortunate to interview some of these young minds which inspired us with their selfless service. Students from Kiwanis Student Club of JB Convent Secondary School expressed their passion toward helping less fortune community.
