Deepa Nair BalakrishnanOn the 14th of January 2011, the KL Mayor and Federal Territory Deputy Minister, M Saravanan, showed up unannounced at Bukit Jalil estate.
He promised that nothing will happen to the estate, yet. However the most controversial issue in Bukit Jalil is the houses for the workers, which M Saravanan says beyond his control.
The fate of Bukit Jalil plantation residents are still in limbo following the unresolved issues which yet to discussed by the Ministry of Federal Territories and Urban Wellbeing and the Ministry of Human Resources.
