Police refused to agree to the Human Rights Party’s demands for a palace official to collect a memorandum to the Sultan of Perak earlier today.
The police had offered the HRP leaders to select four from amongst them to deliver their memorandum to a palace official in the palace, but the group insisted that the official come to where they were or have a police officer collect and deliver the memo for them.
The police refused to do this and the group placed the memorandum on the bonnet of a police patrol car which irked a police officer who pushed if off and onto the ground. In the midst of the screaming and shoving, the policeman was scene showing his fist to one of the HRP leaders.
Police also refused to accept the memorandum on behalf of the palace.
