Anti-ISA vigil in Ipoh a success

The police cordoned off the Dewan Bandaraya Ipoh square to halt the candlelight vigilers from participating in the anti ISA candle light vigil.

Sungai Siput MP, Dr. Jeyakumar tried negotiating with the Ipoh police chief but instead he was warned that the police will start arresting if they don’t disperse.

The organizers then moved the venue to Parkson Grand shopping complex and almost 500 people successfully participated in the candle light vigil.
