Abattoir upgrade for cleaner operation

The abattoir located at Jalan Sg Pinang will be upgraded to eliminate animal fat and blood being thrown into Sungai Pinang.

MPPP Councillor, Tay Leong Seng said that new filters and new pipings are being installed to ensure cleaner operation.

According to him, the Sungai Pinang is cleaner compared to before, climbing up the water index from C5 to C3.

Tay also said that UMNO members allegations were unfair as during the two years of PR government, many improvements have been implemented while the previous government did not do anything for the past 50 years.
