Uthayakumar the pro-tem Secretary-General of the Human Rights Party this evening responded to the round table discussion at Parliament earlier in the day.
The discussion which was organised by the DAP and attended by its coalition partners and various NGOs discussed the issue of heavy discrimination for places of higher education in public universities.
Uthayakumar was incredulous as to why 76 opposition Members of Parliament could not bring the matter as a motion in the Dewan Rakyat for debate.
