The DAP and its partners in the Pakatan Rakyat coalition have been quick to capitalise on their win in the Sibu yy-election by announcing their ‘Sarawak for Change’ slogan.
This is in anticipation of the Sarawak state election which is expected to be held within the next 12 months.
Taking a step back, many of the issues highlighted during the recent Sibu by-election campaign trail such as poverty, native land rights and flooding in places like Sibu are expected to be top on the agenda for the anticipated state-wide election.
Voters not only want change but must see change. This video consists of images taken in Sibu town and its outskirt during the By-election period in mid May 2010
