April 27, 2010: A Form 3 student from Shah Alam was shot dead by police barely 100 meters from his home last night.
S Manikavasagam the PKR member of parliament for Kapar who was together with the deceased family at the Section 11 police station in Shah Alam to make a report on the incident, said the killing is a public issue on the police’s apparent shoot-to-kill policy.
The excuses given by the police (that the victim was armed and they acted in self-defence) is the same with other shoot-to-kill incidents of the recent past, said the Kapar MP.
