On her visit to Sarawak in April, PKR president Dato’ Seri Dr Wan Azizah is feted to dinner in Kuching organized by PKR Layar branch. Then she is whisked off to a meet-the-people session at Kampung Patingan, Satok.
In the wee hours of the following morning, she travels to Lachau (200km) to visit the morning traders at the jungle produce market .
Then onwards to Debak (284km) where she stopped by the bazaar for another meet-the-people session. In Saratok (307km), Dr Azizah visits Rumah Latit Sg Engkabang Roban to meet the Iban longhouse folks.
She then proceeds to Sibu (462km) and meets party members and Pakatan Rakyat leaders before leaving for home in the same evening.
A gruelling schedule and Dr Azizah sails through with her winsome smile and charming demeanour.
