The long houses which was built in 1992 with the assistance of the state government, only has one room each and do not have kitchens.
Extreme weather conditions in this part of the world do not help either. The community leaders and elders in the village are seeking assistance to rebuild the houses and improve the living conditions of the 100 families that live in Long Lamai.
