Bangkok: Bersih supporters in solidarity

Bersih supporters gathered in front of Malaysia embassy in Bangkok to show support for a clean and fair elections.

Bangkok’s Bersih 3.0 coordinator Subatra Jayaraj said the rally is to be in solidarity with Bersih rally in Kuala Lumpur and other cities in Malaysia.

Sout East Asia Press Alliance (SEAPA) executive director, Gayathry Venkiteswaran told the 200 odd crowd that they should be proud of themselves for coming out to support Bersih.

At the end of the sit in, Subatra handed over a memorandum to the Malaysian embassy.
