Johor Parti Kesejahteraan Insan Tanah Air (KITA) chief, Mohd Zaid Mohd Yusof urged the police to expedite their investigation and take appropriate action against those found guilty of causing a fracas during Pakatan Rakyat opposition leader, Anwar Ibrahim’s visit to Batu 4m Jalan Mersing, Kluang, last Sunday night.
Otherwise, he said, during the 13th general election, many more uncalled for incidences will recur and situations are bound to spiral out of control.
“All parties should act responsibly since politics is about the overall welfare of the people and religion”, added Mohd Zaid.
“It is more important for all parties to act responsibly in any event simply because all we want is justice and we want the relevant authorities to act fast so that all parties will feel satisfied”, Mohd Zaid said.
In the last Sunday night’s incident, local residents and political party members were found shouting at one another just as the Pakatan Rakyat opposition leader, Anwar Ibrahim arrived to give a political speech.
