A decomposing body of a baby was found in a plastic bag by the road side near the Greentown Business Centre today.
It was found by passers-by at 9.40am who then informed the police.
Ipoh police chief, ACP Azisman Alias, said the body was sent to the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital for a post-mortem.
He urged those with information to contact the police at 05-2451500 to facilitate investigation.
