The Terengganu Government has allocated about RM10 million to set up the Tengku Muhammad Ismail scout camp facilities in Telaga Batin, said Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Said.

He said the various facilities provided at the camp for scouting programmes needed to be organised indefinitely.

“We will look at the other facilities that need to be increased from time to time to enable scouts to feel comfortable at the camp,” he said at the state banquet in conjunction with 12th Malaysian Jamboree and the 2011 Terengganu International Scout Jamboree last night.

The jamboree, which was opened by Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin last Friday, involves 10,800 participants from 21 countries.
