Dana Belia 1Malaysia has announced four more recipients, including two youth-related associations, to receive a RM266,200 fund for their arts, academic and environmental initiative projects.

Two of the recipients are Young Choral Academy which would organise a choral music symposium-cum-competition and Nurul Izzah Zainal Abidin who will organise an international street dance competition via urban culture.

Other recipients are Kelab Skuba Universiti Teknologi Malaysia for their Coral Nursery Programme and blogger Tee Lien Yu to help her develop and manage an interactive application in social website for students sitting for SPM and STPM examinations.

In a statement today, 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) said selected projects were chosen based on the ability of the recipients to execute their projects independently and create opportunities for a wide segment of youths to channel their energies positively and productively.
