The Empire Shopping Gallery in Subang Jaya, near here, which was closed following a gas explosion on Sept 28, has reopened.

Mammoth Empire Holdings Sdn Bhd group executive director Datuk Danny Cheah said almost 90 per cent of the mall’s stores had opened, while the rest were still undergoing upgrading works.

“The physical damage caused by the blast is estimated at around RM10 million,” he told reporters during a walk-through of the mall in conjunction with its reopening today.
