The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Academy is expected to train over 2,000 officers yearly when its Jalan Duta complex is fully operational.

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Academy is expected to train over 2,000 officers yearly when its Jalan Duta complex is fully operational.

MACC deputy chief commissioner (management and professionalism) Zakaria Jaffar said previously, the old academy, located adjacent to the new complex, could train only between 100 and 1,000 officers.

“More courses, workshops and seminars can be held at the new academic building,” he said at the handover ceremony of the RM58 million project from the Public Works Department to the MACC today.

The academy will also provide training to officers from other agencies within and outside the country, he said, adding that until October, it had trained 11,028 participants, including 634 from abroad.
