Rangkaian Pengangkutan Integrasi Deras Sdn Bhd (RapidKL) will introduce the MyRapid card tomorrow to provide convenient travel and hassle-free LRT rides for commuters.
Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad (Prasarana) said in a statement today that with the MyRapid card, users would be able to use only one card at both the Ampang and Kelana Jaya LRT lines.
The card will be on sale at all RapidKL LRT stations ticket offices from tomorrow (Nov 2) with 80 per cent special introductory discount on card prices of RM10 (RM2 for card price with RM8 card value) while stocks last.
It also said that holders of Magnetic Stored Value Ticket (SVT) could change their cards to the MyRapid card for free.
In conjunction with the new ticketing system, RapidKL urged users to buy the new MyRapid card to ease their journey.
